OANH + IAN SAN DIEGO

THE PROPOSAL

Oanh and Ian were engaged in April 2017! They decided to do an international trip to France together. Ian picked out a stunning vintage ring in the 1920 Art Deco style from Erstwhile Jewelry in NYC– when it arrived it took his breath away; the ring was more beautiful than he had ever imagined. He packed it in his jacket pocket and was anxious throughout the TSA inspection- hoping that the surprise wouldn’t be ruined he held his breath while they went through all of his things–a huge sign of relief when the security passed on the tiny box carrying the stunning engagement ring!

It was midnight in Paris (LOVE that movie), on their first night in France. Oanh and Ian climbed to the rooftop of their hotel which overlooked and Eiffel Tower to see the city lights.  Straight out of a love story, Ian got down on one knee and proposed and it was as beautiful and romantic as it sounds! The newly engaged couple spent the next week hand in hand strolling around the streets of Paris excited for their lives and their future!!

We had the best time climbing rocks, and cliffs during Oanh and Ian’s engagement session at Sunset Cliffs in San Diego–we captured so many stunning, romantic, and fun shots of the couple and loved getting to know them and their love story even more!!! We can’t wait to photograph their wedding at the jaw dropping Inn at Park Winters in Sacramento this June!!!
