AIMEE + RYAN LOS ANGELES

SWEET WORDS FROM AIMEE:

I thought it would never happen, which is why I wasn’t expecting it…even though it was the third anniversary of our first date.  I had just spent Christmas in Colombia with my mother and sister. Ryan picked me up from  LAX with our little pup, Chloe. Our plan was to exchange Christmas presents after I got home, but little did I know Ryan had other plans!

After exchanging presents ( we both got each other essentially the same things), Ryan gave me a larger box wrapped much more carefully than a typical “Ryan present.” (He usually uses more tape than wrapping paper.) I opened the present to find one of my favorite things – a handwritten, heartfelt card.  As I was reading his words, I noticed him fidgeting with something in the couch.  He then surprised me in the biggest way possible – he got down on one knee and asked me to make him the happiest man and marry him.  And as if the night couldn’t be any more unexpected and wonderful,  Ryan also got a group our closest friends together as a surprise, to celebrate at a bar down the street.  

 We started their lives on opposite sides of the country, me from Florida & Ryan from central California. We are getting married in the place where our story together began: Los Angeles, California. We can’t wait to capture all the magic of our engagement night with an even bigger group of our closest family and friends at our wedding
