GUERRILLA LARK DINNER PARTY

When you think of January in California you may or may not picture beach goers, bathing suits, and sandy toes–and I can almost guarantee that you never imagined setting up a dinner table on the sand, water lapping at your feet, while you dined al fresco… 85 degree weather & uncrowded beaches inspired The Lark Artisan Market’s owner, Lisa Gutierrez-Martinez, to do just that!! Lisa often visualizes communal tables in spaces where people can gather, be themselves and connect with others and her biggest inspiration has always been Mother Nature.  Lisa decided to feed her creative vibe this month with a small “guerrilla” lark at the stunning Pirates Cove in Corona Del Mar!  This private little cove provided  the dinner party participants the opportunity to think out loud about Lark’s number one motto: Do, Reflect, Refine, Do Again. We were excited to capture this gorgeous dinner party, (the “soup flight” was crafted by Chef Kyle Powers) while also embracing all of the the things that the Lark (and Lisa) represent: good conversations, gatherings involving amazing food & drinks, chefs with passion, style, design, photography, art, books, inspired spaces, and, of course amazing people.
