What was the Inspiration for your wedding day? Simple and elegant. We knew how beautiful the scenery already was and adding too much would only take away from it. And making it all about Jesus was our number one priority.
How and why did you pick your venue and or wedding details We both love the ocean but wanted something different than a ceremony on thesand. And although our families are from Orange County we met in San Diego.
What special details did you include in your wedding or reception?? Worship and communion during our ceremony. We did both traditional vows and wrote our own – that was awesome! We had photos of each of our parents from
their weddings and a polaroid picture guest book.
How did you make your wedding day special and make it about the two of you??! Pretty hard for your wedding day to not already be super special! We had each written a letter to one another the night before to give to our bridal party who would give it to us on the morning of. That was really sweet. We each wanted Jesus to be part of the entire day. And made sure the wedding didn’t get too carried away with the ‘wedding details’ and instead just had fun with it knowing it
was already perfect no matter what may take place.
Most memorable moment (s) of your wedding day? bride: Walking down the aisle. All I remember is seeing Andrew’s face. I couldn’t hear the music or the guests, and almost forgot there was a crowd of people staring at me.
groom: My favorite moment of the whole day was seeing Brianna for the first timeas she walked down the aisle toward me.
What was your favorite part about the wedding planning process? Visualizing our perfect day and making it a reality.
Any advice for those planning now? Just have fun! Don’t get too carried away with all the little details – which can be so easy to do!
