Soobin and Mikey are one of the sweetest couples that I have ever photographed. From the very beginning of the day you could feel the buzz of excitement in the air from both Mikey and Soobin. They were SO excited to be getting married; their excitement and love radiated.

Soobin and Mikey decided to do a first look (which I always highly recommend as a photographer!!) I love first looks because the bride and groom get a chance to see each other for the first time with nobody else around. They can laugh, they can spin around, they can embrace and they can cry. The time during the first look is so special to all of my brides and grooms as they get to really enjoy the moment with one another before the ceremony and then be a little bit more relaxed before walking down the isle.

Mikey and Soobin’s first looks was so tender, Mikey was positioned on a hill facing away and Soobin excitedly walked out of the bridal sweet and up the hill towards him. When she tapped him on the shoulder and he turned around and gazed upon his stunning bride for the first time he broke down in sobbing tears. I have never seen a groom react with such love and tenderness and emotion before. Soobin began to cry and it was hard not to get choked up as they wiped away tears from one anothers eyes.

The couple was married under the trees at the El Dorado Park Golf Course in Long Beach, California. As Soobin walked down the Isle towards Mikey, tears of joy streamed down both of their faces. Gorgeous light filtered through the trees showcasing the greenery and flowers in which set the stage. They exchanged their vows, sealed it with a kiss and joyfully walked down the isle hand in hand, husband in wife.

Mikey and Soobin experienced a miry of emotion that day–tears and laughter and joy and love. I hope that they forever remember how they felt on this day. It was an honor and a pleasure to capture their love story.
