What was the Inspiration for your wedding day? We wanted to make the wedding about our story and show our love for each other and hope to show our connection to our family and friends in the most vulnerable way possible!

How and why did you pick your venue and or wedding details? We wanted to get married at a place that was close to where we grew up together and share our likes together still today. Brooke loves country so the backyard wedding was perfect for her taste and Matt wanted to feel close to his family getting married at his fathers house where he works in the yard each week.

What special details did you include in your wedding or reception?? Our dog Maggie

How did you make your wedding day special and make it about the two of you??! Our vows were the most personal, pictures of us growing up together, serving the food we enjoy and dancing to the music we love.

Most memorable moment (s) of your wedding day? Groom: vows. Bride: vows

What was your favorite part about the wedding planning process? Deciding where each part of the wedding would take place and choosing the food!

Any advice for those planning now? Make it fun, don’t stress on the little things , don’t drink too much 😉

How was your experience working with The DeLauras??  We absolutely LOVED working with the DeLauras! They made it so much fun and made us feel so comfortable taking pictures when we know we are not the best at posing for pictures. They were great at telling us the fundamentals of how to pose. Anthony was great at teaching the guys when and when not to unbutton your jacket; Simple things that made a difference that we never knew before. Kendal was great at moving things quickly when she knew time was an issue so she did an amazing job calling out the people who needed to be in the shot and getting things moving.
