We love capturing elopements and intimate weddings! Traditionally the ‘elopement’ was the act of running off in secrecy and getting hitched at a courthouse! Nowadays, elopements happen in all forms and styles–either the elopement consists of just the couple or witnessed by a few family and friends. We love how elopements allow the couple to focus on the two of them, their love story, their priorities, and their union. Stripping away the pressure, anxiety, and obligation surrounding a traditional wedding day!

We Loved photographing Katya and David’s stunning Elopement at the Santa Barbara Courthouse in Santa Barbara! This day was dreamy, intimate, and just like the couple pictured!!!

FROM KATYA & DAVID:

We wanted our wedding day to be about us and we wanted to be able to spend time with each other and closest family and friends. With this in mind we planned an intimate wedding in Santa Barbara. Katya used Pinterest to get ideas for ceremony and the reception venues and found those in one of the blog posts. We agreed that the most memorable moment for both of us was the ceremony and seeing each other for the first time as Katya was walking down the aisle. It was so much more meaningful and emotional than we anticipated. Having our closest friends and family our wedding, many of whom travelled from from across the country also made our day very special.
