First wedding of the year was in Las Vegas and it started off with a bang!! I met Jenna and Brock in the fall of 2015 while I was shooting a wedding in Orange County. Brock was one of the groomsman and we got to talking about how we were both planning destination weddings. (Me in Big Sur, he in Las Vegas) He told me all about he and his Fiance met in Las Vegas February 2014 and it was love at first sight! A week or so after the wedding Brock and Jenna booked me to be their photographer for their Las Vegas wedding February 6, 2016!!!

Brock and his family spend every superbowl in Las Vegas–it is their annual tradition. February 2014 was no different. One of Brock’s buddies brought his beautiful little sister Jenna to the weekend adventure. When Brock first laid eyes on Jenna he knew that there was something truly special about this girl. They spent the weekend dancing, drinking, and laughing. It was a weekend they would not soon forget.

The couple did long distance for several months flying back and forth to one another however they new this was true love and that they were ‘meant to be’  and it wasn’t long before Jenna moved to Florida to be with Brock! The couple welcomed their first little girl into the world last April and she is the little light of their lives!!!

Jenna and Brock’s wedding celebration was exactly that. A celebration of love, family and friends. Their wedding weekend was a festive Las Vegas style party with 120 of their closest family and friends all traveling in to celebrate their union and superbowl of course! It is not a weekend that anyone will soon forget!!!

FROM THE BRIDE:
1. Favorite moments from your wedding day: The ceremony definitely! I loved every second of it. The little boys walking down the aisle. Staring into Brock’s eyes. Having Avery laughing and clapping and just being so amazing the whole time. Having Brock’s grandpa do a reading. And kissing the man of my dreams followed by being called Mrs. Falfas. Perfect in every way!

I also enjoyed the first dance I wasn’t sure about the song because it’s not a typical wedding song but it’s our song and I’m so glad we ending up dancing to it.

My other favorite moment was where I was standing behind Brock waiting for him to turn around to see me for the first time. Heart beating! It was so intense!

2.What did you love most about your wedding: I loved marrying my new husband! The whole process of celebrating your new marriage together with all of your family and friends is amazing.

3.Why a destination wedding in Vegas?? We met in Vegas at this hotel on the same weekend so we felt it was only right!

4.BEST and WORST part about planning a destination wedding?:
Worst: You aren’t able to meet face to face with anyone. You are literally planning your whole wedding through the phone.
Best: Everyone travels and has a great time on your wedding weekend.

5. Advice for future brides planning a destination wedding?: Stay on top of wedding planners and vendors. It is very easy for emails to get lost especially when your not the only wedding your planning. I wish I would have also went there before and sat down with most of the planners. It would have made the process way more simple!

6. Anything you would have done differently?? We didn’t bring our daughter to the ‘first look’ out at Calico Basin and I wish we would have so that we would have gotten more pictures with Avery!

7. Anything else you want to add??  Listen and do a first look. I almost didn’t and we would have not had half of the amazing photos we did. Seriously listen. And also plan 30 minutes ahead because you WILL be 30 minutes behind schedule.
